The Gabel Escape Carbon Lite Tour model is the latest model in the Escape series of poles - a product specifically designed for demanding users who prefer top-of-the-range products. The lite version has shorter sections (59-131 adjustment), which makes the weight of the pole even lower (200g). The Gabel Escape Carbon Lite Tour pole is a technologically advanced, versatile and reliable climbing and trekking pole, suitable for both winter and summer use. Due to its extremely low weight and super efficient locking system, this model is particularly recommended for high altitude climbers and alpine guides. The model is characterised by a double length locking system, which ensures high stability and stiffness of the pole, an extended grip and a low-weight carbon construction. 

The pole shaft is made of three tubes with diameters of 16, 14 and 12 mm. This model is telescopic and can reach a minimum lenght of 65 cm. It is equipped with a high-performance "MULTI LOCK" system, consisting of a buckle and a twist mechanism.

The "CARBIDE" tip made of tungsten guarantees excellent grip on any terrain, while the extended "Ergo Lite" foam handle provides a natural grip and complete comfort. Finally, the very comfortable and breathable grip has an extra special coating with an antibacterial formula to increase its durability and overall comfort - it can be easily removed and washed - this is provided by the Gabel "Top Click" (T.C.S.) system.

TECHNOLOGIES USED:

• Fast Lock – a system of external locking which, thanks to solid buckles, allows quick and safe adjustment of the appropriate pole length. It also works very well in cold weather.

• T.P.L. – Top Performance Locking is an internal locking system which makes it possible to quickly and securely adjust the appropriate length of the pole. Simply set the length and twist. 

• Multi – a combination of Fast Lock [external locking system] and T.P.L. [internal locking system] systems. Gabel is the only pole manufacturer in the world to have a hybrid of systems in 1 product. 

• T.C.S. - Top Click System allowing the strap to be clipped in and out of the handle.

• Carbide – carbide, a special alloy of metal atoms, semi-metal and carbon from which the tip of the pole is made - widie. This material is significantly more resistant to abrasion than steel.

• Soft - the grip is made of a very soft foam material giving comfort of use.

• Ultra Light – very light poles for the most demanding users made of the highest quality carbon fibre.
